Before there was Rubik's Cube, the Hanoi Tower was a famous educational toy/puzzle that can absorb a child for hours. Invented by mathematician Eduard Lucas in 1883, the goal is simply to move the disks from one pole to the next in the fewest moves possible. It's both an excellent way to build fine motor control and a test of problem-solving skills. Made in China. For ages 3 to adult.
