The world famous Anker blocks were based on the Froebel ® Gifts because the factory founder, Ruchter, was Froebel's neighbor and was inspired by his Gifts to manufacture architectural blocks with the same size and dimensions. The stone provides a heftier, more durable surface (plus easier to wash and clean) and the chance to experience a different material in the traditional Kindergarten Gift forms.
