Red Hen Books & Toys encrypts all information prior to transmitting by using SSL technology on a secure server. As an added measure of security for credit information, Red Hen Books & Toys does not retain credit card numbers once an order is processed.
What information is collected?
Customers browse our site anonymously. Only when you place an order do we collect your email address, billing/mailing addresses, credit card number, 3-digit verify code and expiration date. This information allows Red Hen Books & Toys to process and fulfill orders, as well as notify customers of order status.
Periodically, we will use the information collected to notify customers regarding updates to the web site. Any customer wishing to be removed from the mailing list should email us at orders@redhenllc.com.
Will information be sold to 3rd parties?
Red Hen Books & Toys will not sell, trade, rent or give individually identifying information to third parties without permission. Red Hen Books & Toys only uses the collected personal information to process orders, deliver orders, contact customers regarding questions about orders, and improve the shopping experience.
Will I receive unsolicited e-mails from Red Hen?
We send email confirmations of orders to all customers that place an order. In addition, Red Hen Books & Toys periodically may contact customers by email with updates regarding the web site. If customers would like to receive emails or a newsletter from us, they should check the on the order form.

Shipping Rates
There are several different shipping carriers from which to choose (USPS, UPS Ground and FedEx Ground). The cost of shipping is automatically calculated at checkout, based on the total weight of the shipment.
We ship worldwide. UPS and FedEx Ground shipments are available to the 48 continental states. Alaska, Hawaii require either USPS Priority Mail or UPS/FedEx expedited shipping services. International orders may be sent via US Mail airmail/surface parcel post or Global Express Mail at our discretion. We will provide shipping quotes prior to shipment.
At times, we or our drop-ship manufacturers may ship a different way. If this occurs, you will be notified of the change and provided with the necessary information to track your package(s).
Additional Shipping Charges: Some larger items include an additional shipping charge because they are oversized or weigh more than a typical package. If this is the case, you will see the charge on the product page and in your shopping cart before you checkout.
Delivery Times
The actual delivery time varies depending on the time of day your order is placed, the type of product you order, your location and the shipping method you choose. We will give you an estimate of delivery times, but please track your package with the carrier for more accurate estimates.
Unexpected Delays: We cannot be held accountable for any shipper-related shipping problem, manufacturer shipping related problem, or incorrect information provided during checkout that leads to delayed delivery. As always, if we become aware of delays we will relay this information to you in a timely manner.
Shipping to APO's and FPO's
We ship to both APO's and FPO's via the US Mail. This shipment may take up to 17 days, and we cannot provide a tracking number for the order, but we will inform you via email when we ship the order.
To ship to an APO or FPO, please include the grade, full name with middle name or initial, and the PSC number, unit number, or ship name for the recipient. In the "City" field, please put either APO or FPO, in the "State" field, please put AA (Armed Forces of America), AE (Armed Forces Europe) or AP (Armed Forces Pacific), and then use the appropriate ZIP code for the location
Shipping to PO Boxes
We do ship to PO Boxes, but only through US Mail.
Drop-Ship Items
Items with a "DS" after the item name in the order bar are items which are direct shipped from the toy's manufacturer. For direct ship items, please allow 3-7 business days for items to ship.
Direct ship items are shipped UPS , FedEx, USPS, or DSL depending on the manufacturer. When your item(s) is shipped, we will notify you of the shipping method and provide you with the tracking number in a shipment email, so you can track the order just like any other order from Red Hen Books & Toys.
In addition, since direct ship items are not shipped from our warehouse, we are unable to gift wrap or provide gift enclosures with these items.
Shipment Tracking
After placing an order at Red Hen Books & Toys, you can check the shipping status of your order through your account. We will email you when an order is placed, as well as when the order is shipped. The shipment email will provide the tracking information for your order. You can use the shipping method and tracking number provided in the shipment email and in your account to track your package at the following:

Red Hen Books & Toys offers a 30-day, money-back guarantee on all toys. If not satisfied with an item(s), customers may return the purchased product(s) for a full refund, excluding shipping and handling charges, providing the toy has not been played with and is in its original box. If a product has been opened, rendering the item unsaleable, Red Hen Books & Toys reserves the right to contest the return. To receive a refund, please include a note explaining why the item is being returned, and include name, shipping address, and phone number, along with the original receipt, with the returned item(s). Defective items may be returned for a replacement, and if that is not acceptable, a full refund, within 30 days. Please include a note explaining why the item is defective and include name, shipping address, and phone number, along with the original receipt. If the manufacturer is at fault for the defect, Red Hen Books & Toys will assume the return shipping charges.
