Froebel Monument at Keilhau, in the Thuringia region of
Germany.
This monument (the sphere, cylinder and cube of Froebel's second
Gift) overlooks a spectacular valley in southeastern Germany near
the border of Czech Republic. This massive stone memorial was
placed here in one of Froebel's favorite places to think and
contemplate the education of humanity. A wonderful image of
Froebel's lasting mark on the world.
